It is Freddie’s one year Anniversary this week. For those that remember Freddie he was rescued after being hit by a car on West Bay Road. Island Vet made him better and then asked CARE to help find him his forever home. Through our partnership with Petfinders and United Animals for action we were able to find Freddie his dream Mom and he lives happily ever after hiking and being entertained. His Mom sent an update today – Freddie is doing great and we are celebrating his birthday today! I made him a doggie birthday cake and, so far this morning, we went on a big hike and then got special dog cookies at the Bakery. He is now taking a nap and resting up to go for another hike.
